ABSTRACT
O objetivo do uso de eritropoetina recombinante humana (rHuEpo)em recém-nascidos (RN) pré-termo doentes. Foram avaliados a eritropoese, a granulopoese, a trombocitopoese e o impacto do uso do hormônio sobre o número e volume de transfusões. A casuística foi composta de 34 RN: 20 receberam a rHuEpo e 14 participaram do grupo controle. Foram adotados os seguintes critériosde inclusão: idade gestacional / The objective of the study was to analyze the effects of human recombinant erythropoietin (rHuEpo) in sick preterm neonates.
